If you have an interest in promoting environmental health and sustainability for human and non-human communities in a socially responsible and equitable manner, this is the CSUMB major for you.
The concentration in Science for Sustainable Communities prepares students for graduate school and “green" jobs with government agencies, non-governmental agencies, industry and business.
The concentration in Environmental Education prepares students for work as environmental educators with ecological interpretive centers (e.g. nature centers, aquariums, zoos, museums), outdoor education programs, school programs, businesses, government agencies and environmental organizations as well as graduate school.
You will find the official information about the Environmental Studies major right here in the Catalog.
