Following the CSUMB Vision statement, the Global Studies majors offer a view of an interdependent world in motion, of many cultural, economic and population flows intersecting and set within hierarchies of power. You will study the shifting meanings of globalization in the 21st century, and how, as US citizens, to prepare for active and creative leadership in our increasingly globalized society.
The Global Studies curriculum provides the experience, knowledge and skills for successful careers related to global affairs. Our alumni have worked with NGOs in Bosnia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan, and Jordan, are environmental lobbyists, lawyers, consultants in international education, and staff in city, state, and federal government.
You will find all of the official information about the Global Studies B.A. right here. Simply use the navigation or the matching links at the bottom of this page.
