Built upon a developmental model, this minor teaches the neurological foundations of movement for all children with special emphasis on atypical children. You will develop an understanding of the Central Nervous System and sensory integration that will be valuable while working with individuals in public schools, in the community and in the private sector. In this minor you will discover how to provide an environment for all children to learn within their own limitations and style, at their own pace, and alongside their peers.
