SBS 316 - Visual Anthropology


An introduction to the subfield of social anthropology that explores the production of ethnographic film, photography, and new media concerned with visual representation and the documentation of culture and society. Students explore the potentials of field photography to study, interpret, and investigate human social behavior and its consequences.
