CHHS 400A - Senior Capstone-A Applying the 7 MLOs of the CHHS major, students work individually with field mentors and the course instructor to design a field-based project that addresses a community need. In Senior Capstone-A, students study a health or social problem affecting the community, formulate it in a way that is conducive for analysis, identify its causes, justify the need for action through an applied community-based project. The culmination is a project proposal that is submitted to their field mentor and CHHS faculty for approval.
