HCOM 423 - Religion and Public Life


In this course, we will examine ways in which religion plays a significant role in public life, constituting both community and controversy in various contexts. We will use rhetorical and critical cultural studies perspectives to analyze explicit and implicit connections between religion and our political and social institutions and practices.
