SBS 384S - Anthropology of Education: Cultural Contexts of Bilingual Education Introduces the study of schooling in California with an emphasis on minority group perspectives, and thereby explores the concept of transnational cultural experiences. Explores the cultural similarities and differences within such immigrant groups and compares the learning experiences of U.S. and Mexican teachers and their students.
