BUS 472 - Advanced Business Analytics and Visualization

This course provides an introduction to the Python programming language for students without prior programming experience. We cover the fundamental topics of Python following project-based pedagogy.  Students will learn how to (a) clean, analyze, visualize, and test and validate data using supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods and (b) write Python programs to create games, Twitter bots, social media archivers and crawlers, and automation scripts. The projects of this course will help students learn and use the Python program to solve real-world scientific and business problems.

Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): (Prereq: BUS 468 or BUS 469 with a C- or better)
