MATH 401 - Graduate and Professional Studies Preparation for the Sciences
Students planning to apply to graduate or professional/credential programs in the sciences after graduation will strengthen several professional skills, including teamwork, self-efficacy, goal-setting, organization, and communication skills. Students will prepare and revise professional documents, such as curriculum vitae and personal statements, for their applications for programs and funding and will enhance their communication skills in a variety of contexts, such as written correspondence and mock interview exercises. All assignments are built around the application development process for graduate or professional academic programs.
