AGPS 209 - Plants, Agriculture, and Climate Change Provides an understanding of causes and effects of climate change in plants and crops. Focuses on the impacts of how climate change impacts fundamental plant function and how changes in biotic and abiotic stressors such as environmental conditions impact plant performance. Mitigation of impacts of Climate Changes on plants and agricultural systems are approached with real life examples and latest research findings that addresses plant responses and performance to a rapidly changing climate.
