BUS 333 - Sports Management Sports play an important role in individual lives and in society more broadly. Sports are a vehicle for lifelong physical fitness, a source of identity and camaraderie, and a form of live entertainment. In short, sports are big business. This course explores sports from the perspective of business and examines such topics as how profits are generated and distributed, the role of athletes in the sports economy, and the business of gender equity.
