KIN 163 - Principles of Stress Management This course is designed to offer students a broad survey of the issues and facts surrounding stress and coping in U.S. culture. Stress will be examined from historical, sociocultural, and global perspectives. Students will explore the physiology of stress responses as well as the health consequences, values, and professional ethics. Further, students will have the opportunity to explore and expand their own repertoire of coping skills. Students will also be introduced to the methods of inquiry in Kinesiology as they relate to stress management.
