KIN 159 - The Science of Being Well
This course will cover the science behind health and well-being topics as they relate to individual life experiences and the ensuing ability to impact others. Students will quantitatively analyze their own personal well being through the use of standardized assessments and identify areas for growth within each dimension of wellness: physical, emotional, intellectual, social, environmental, financial, occupational and spiritual. Students will analyze quantitative self assessments and determine how to apply knowledge to others at the individual and population level.
