WLC 360 - Foundations for Teaching World Languages


This course introduces the teaching profession to students who are interested in pursuing teaching world languages and cultures, including English, in various settings in the U.S. and around the world, using acquired world language proficiency as one of their career options.  This course introduces research-based teaching practices in world language education that are essential for the effective learning and teaching of World languages. Students explore 21st-century skills of teaching and examine the importance of world languages and cultures to prepare them to become effective global citizens.
