MPA 303 - Proseminar II
Critical group discussion of music as both profession and academic discipline. Students continue literature review work toward a chosen research topic for capstone and begin formulating potential theses. Introduction to basic research and citation skills, and to music’s subdisciplines, their methodologies, and their citation strategies. Guest presentations complement discussion and provoke students to consider new research areas.
