MPA 317S - Community Involvement Service Learning
Fosters the development of arts education programs in local communities. Students employ a combination of community organizing skills and arts teaching strategies to facilitate arts education programs at specific sites. Students provide one-on-one or group tutoring to facilitate arts education. Students become self-reflective, culturally aware, and responsive community participants through reciprocal service and learning projects.
