SSCI 333 - Forensic Anthropology This course combines cold case studies from archaeology, forensics, and biological anthropology in the analysis of the signs for blunt force trauma, strangulation, projectile wounds, dismemberment, disease, conflict-related violence, cannibalism, and mass murder. Peri-mortem and post-mortem indications from hard and soft anatomy underpin our examination of the coldest cases. The SBS 333L Forensic Anthropology Lab option constitutes a complimentary practicum, or hands-on approach to the study of human skeletal anatomy.
