SSCI 377 - Academic Publishing in the Social Sciences
This project-based learning experience provides instruction in the scholarly publication of social science research. Students serve as editors and contributors to Culture, Society, and Praxis, an online undergraduate journal of social scientific research and creative work. Students receive instruction on the scholarly publication process, and on adapting their own scholarly writing for a general audience. We will engage in weekly peer review sessions and revisions of drafts, with the goal of producing manuscripts suitable for submission to Culture, Society, and Praxis.
