SPED 550 - Foundations/Practices for EdSp
This introductory course focuses on practical applications of teaching and assessing students with disabilities. Addresses eligibility and characteristics of exceptionalities, classroom behavior support, lesson plans, law, IEPs, assessment and instructional strategies for working with students with mild to severe disabilities in inclusive settings. Prerequisite for the Mild to Moderate and Moderate to Severe Education Specialist Credential Intern Programs.
