Ethnic Studies
|
|
Drawing from a variety of academic disciplines, the field of Ethnic Studies analyzes issues related to race and ethnicity, highlighting the perspectives and experiences of people of color in the United States and beyond. Ethnic Studies uses an intersectional approach that considers class, sexuality, gender, ability, legal status, and other markers of social identity to examine social inequality, and to envision and work toward a more just and egalitarian society.
