Nonprofit Management, Minor

The minor in Nonprofit Management provides you with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and professional skills needed to effectively lead and manage within the community-based nonprofit organization sector, or to prepare for a graduate degree in Public Administration. This program develops better and more informed nonprofit organization managers in order to improve service delivery, promote more cost-effective service, make better use of increasingly scarce resources and strengthen the ability of community organizations to achieve their missions.

The Nonprofit Management minor provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective leader and manager within the community-based nonprofit organization sector, focusing on organizational, operational, and regulatory aspects of accounting, management, finance and staff leadership that are unique to nonprofit organizations.
