If you transferred into CSUMB as an AS-T-certified student in Business, you must complete the following courses for your bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at CSUMB. If you are unsure about your transfer status, please talk to an advisor.

Required Courses

Complete all of the following courses:
BUS 300S - Business Ethics in Action Units: 3
BUS 301 - Principles of Business Analytics Units: 3
BUS 304 - Business Communication, Pro-seminar & Critical Thinking Units: 4
BUS 305 - Principles of Management Units: 4
BUS 306 - Principles of Marketing Units: 4
BUS 307 - Finance Units: 4
BUS 308 - Information Systems for Decision Making Units: 4
BUS 499 - Strategic Management-Senior Capstone Units: 4
Complete one of the following courses:
Students are encouraged to consult pathways or speak to an advisor to satisfy course prerequisites
BUS 309 - Principles of Operations Management Units: 4
BUS 310 - Entrepreneurship Units: 4

Concentrations

To fulfill the requirements of the Business, B.S., select and complete one of the following concentrations (16 units):

Accounting Concentration

Agribusiness Concentration

Business Analytics & Information Systems Concentration, AS-T

Entrepreneurship Concentration

Management & International Business Concentration  

Marketing Concentration

General Education and University Requirements

To satisfy the requirements of the degree, students must successfully complete all Undergraduate Requirements . Several of these (UD-B, UD-D, Upper division Service Learning, and GWAR) are embedded in the major coursework.

Select and complete coursework to meet the following requirements:

Upper division GE C area must double count with World Culture & Language
- Select from the following:
  - JAPN 350 - World Culture and Language: Japanese
  - SPAN 350 - World Culture and Language: Spanish
American Institutions

Students may select additional elective coursework if necessary to complete 60 units.
