General Education and University Requirements

To satisfy the requirements of the degree, students must successfully complete all Undergraduate Requirements .  Several of these (UD-C, Upper division Service Learning, GWAR, and World Culture and Language) are embedded in the major curriculum.

Select and complete coursework to meet the following requirements: 

• Upper division GE D area   must double count with American Institutions  US1  Choose from the following:
  • SBS 350 - Domination and Resistance: US since 1880  
  • HCOM 353 - California At Crossroads  
  • HCOM 369 - Asian American History   
• American Institutions  Choose from US2/3 coursework 

Students may select additional elective coursework if necessary to complete 60 units.
