The Biology, BS + Credential combines the requirements for the Biology degree and credential courses within one integrated program that allows students to finish their baccalaureate degree and credential in less time. This Integrated Biology Teacher Education Program (Biology ITEP) is designed for students who desire to become middle and high school Science/Biology teachers.

*Please note that this option requires more units per semester, and requires students to commit to a prescribed course sequence with additional requirements. Students are encouraged to consult their advisor for details.

In order to graduate, you will also need to complete your General Education and university requirements, some of which are embedded within the major.

Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and must earn a C- or above in each course that serves as a pre-requisite to a more advanced course.

MATH 150 - Calculus I Units: 4 This course requires prior preparation for calculus (e.g. to a level provided by successful completion of MATH 130)
