Master of Social Work, M.S.W. Advanced Standing

The profession of social work is committed to social and economic justice, ethics, diversity, and advocacy. The Master of Social Work education prepares social workers with an advanced knowledge base and skills to address complex social problems and to promote the well-being of individuals and society.

The Advanced Standing Master of Social Work is aimed at students who have earned a Bachelor of Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program within the past five years with a 3.5 GPA and no grade lower than an A- for all the SW courses, five years of experience in the human services field, and letters of recommendation.
