Students demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, integrity, and reliability through written and oral communication. Students analyze multipe perspectives and effectively present ideas in a logical framework using a variety of communication modes.
Students use the instructional design process to plan and develop learning solutions that solve real-world problems. Student conduct front-end analysis; specify measurable learning objectives; and plan, develop, and implement learning solutions in keeping with evidence-based design principles and strategies.
Instructional Systems Foundations
Students analyze and explain core theories, principles, and models in the design and implementation of learning solutions. Students include history, current issues, future trends, performance improvement, professional ethics, professional organizations, and fundamental theories, principle, and models in their analyses and explanations of instructional systems.
Technology and Mulimedia
Students create interactive and engaging multimedia learning products using industry standard technologies and tools. Students evaluate and identify a variety of current and emerging technologies to develop effective and efficient learning solutions. Students apply storyboarding and prototyping techniques and apply appropriate media design principles in the creation of learning products.
Assessment & Evaluation
Students design and conduct formative evaluations for improving learning solutions, including user and developmental testing. Students describe and recommend summative evaluation methods for assessing program effectiveness and to create participant reaction instruments and criterio-based tests.
