BUS 437 - Applied Logistics Provides an introduction to the concepts of intermodal transportation of commodities and produce. Discussion includes modes of transportation, incoterms, transaction risks, warehousing, and distribution as applied to transportation and logistics. Application of shipping and logistics to perishable commodities and cold chains is emphasized using contemporary tools in spatial mapping, data visualization, and data analytics (Microsoft Excel, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), SAS, SAP, etc.).
