HOSP 481 - Sustainable Event Management This course is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of planning, organizing, and executing events while prioritizing environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Students will learn international sustainable event standards, eco-friendly procurement, energy conservation, waste reduction, ethical event planning practices, and communication strategies for sustainable event management through real-world case studies and project-based learning. By the course’s end, students will possess the knowledge and tools to plan and manage events that are memorable, successful, environmentally responsible, and socially conscious.
