HOSP 482 - Sustainable Lodging Management


Offers a comprehensive approach to the operation of lodging properties. Focuses on sustainable and responsible initiatives, technological change, and unique operational challenges. Reviews history and conceptual development of hotels and resorts, future considerations, and outlook for the industry in issues such as the hiring and management of employees and the development of sustainable opportunities. Professional Certification: Students who complete this course will be fully prepared to earn a Professional Certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), a globally recognized credential that demonstrates expertise in sustainable tourism practices.
