CART 321 - Experimental Production
This production course pushes the boundaries of cinematic expression through hands-on experimentation with visual media, focusing on the creative use of light, color, movement, time, and sound. Weekly projects combine handmade and digital methods, inspired by pioneers of early cinema and contemporary video artists. In an age of AI-generated imagery, the course emphasizes human observation, critical decision-making, and the development of each student’s unique artistic voice.
