MSCI 472 - Biological Oceanography Projects This course is focused primarily on lecture and computing-based exploration of biological oceanographic concepts using the Monterey Bay as a model. It uses a group project-based approach to understanding the oceanographic system with a focus on biophysical coupling, aquatic optics, remote sensing, and mechanistic models. It may include one or more field trips. This course can fulfill the Marine Science major capstone requirement with co-enrollment in MSCI 410 .
