AGPS 416 - Seed Production and Technology


This course provides an overview of the principles, practices, and technologies involved in modern seed production systems. Students will gain knowledge of seed physiology, seed health, quality assurance, and seed testing methodologies. Emphasis will be placed on seed certification, phytosanitary regulations, and the role of seed health in global trade. Students will explore current practices in seed treatment, distribution, and compliance, with guest lectures from industry and regulatory experts.
