CHEM 330L - Physical Chemistry Lab

This computational laboratory course complements the one-semester Physical Chemistry lecture by introducing students to molecular modeling, quantum chemistry, and chemical data analysis using the Wolfram Language and research grade simulation software such as Gaussian and Amsterdam Modeling Suite.  Students will gain hands-on experience in simulating chemical systems, analyzing spectroscopic properties, and modeling thermodynamic behavior. Emphasis is placed on computational methods as a modern laboratory skill, scientific communication through interactive reports, and development of reproducible workflows. No wet-lab experiments are conducted.

Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): [(Prereq: CHEM 211  or Instructor Consent) or (Coreq: CHEM 330 )]
