BUS 232 - Finding Your Voice in the AI Era

This course develops fundamental oral communication skills for academic, professional, and civic contexts while cultivating an eco-centric approach to speaking and listening that values collective dialogue over individual performance. Students practice researching, organizing, delivering, and evaluating speeches while engaging with challenges of communication in the age of artificial intelligence. Through three major speeches (informative, persuasive, and reflective) and group deliberation, students learn that authentic communication creates shared understanding rather than competitive advantage, and that diverse voices enrich rather than threaten our collective discourse.
