GS 340 - Social Media and Global Communication Social networking technologies have brought with them new types of mediated interaction: collaboration and consumption. Students will think critically about the influence of social networking technologies on political events and government policies, cultural norms, and social movements. They will develop media literacy through immersion in various social cyberspaces.
