GS 342 - Economic Thought: History and Contemporary Interpretations Explores political economy from historical, critical, global, and feminist perspectives. Students analyze relationships among economic systems and institutions, as well as cultural, political and social institutions, and a wide array of ideologies. Issues addressed include global economic crises, labor activism, labor migration, government, global civil society, poverty and inequality, imperialism and war, and cultural transformations.
