VPA 325 - Curatorial Gallery Practices This course is an introduction to art gallery management, theory, and 2 and 3-dimensional design principles as they apply to gallery practices. Through hands-on participation, students curate exhibitions in the Student Gallery, and are responsible for all aspects of gallery management and exhibition design and installation: conceptualization of themes, selection of artwork, publicity and graphics. Students organize exhibition outreach events, such as gallery walk-throughs and panel discussions.
