MSPA 512 - Clinical Medicine II


This is the second of three clinical medicine courses presented during the didactic year. The course includes information on the etiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders as they related to each body system and developmental stage. This second course will include head, ear, nose and throat, pulmonology, renal system, electrolytes, cardiology, gastrointestinal system, and a second dermatology module. This course will offer a combination of formal lectures, clinical reasoning exercises, and small-group case study discussions to develop problem-solving skills. This course will be taught in coordination with the Advanced Clinical Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Skills and Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapeutics series.
